VIDEO finally available - Fox & Friends asks WIMN’s Jennifer Pozner about Rosie O’Donnell… later wonders, “Is your dog a sissy?”

So, it’s not like one expects to be able to have a deeply, intellectually relevant debate on a morning news program that ends issues-of-the-day discussions with teasers to after-the-break segments with titles like, “Is your dog a sissy?”

But, you can try.

Which I did last week, on Fox News’s “Fox & Friends” the morning after Rosie O’Donnell announced her departure from ABC’s “The View.” I blogged about this last week, but the “Fox & Friends” video hasn’t been available until today. (Thanks to Gwynn Cassidy of The Real Hot 100 for the clip.)

My only major gripe about this segment is not content related, but the fact that I had to leave my apartment at 4:30 am to get to the studio in time for what ended up lasting less than three minutes. That’s cruel and unusual punishment. Since I had debated a bunch of bombastic boob tube boys on “Scarborough Country” late the night before (for that video, see here), I didn’t get home until around 11pm, and since I had to be awake again at 3:30, I knew it wasn’t worth trying to sleep at all. Which meant that by the time I had to debate Fox’s Brian Kilmeade (who some may remember not so fondly for telling WMD-questioning Janeane Garafalo “Saddam Hussein must love you!” just before the Iraq war), I had been awake for more than 24 hours.

See what sleep deprivation wrought:
