Wanted to send out this quick request to our readers Women In Media & News is hoping one of you can help.

As a media criticism blog, WIMN’s Voices would like to be able to post more video excerpts from news broadcasts, entertainment media, our own media interviews/appearances, etc. Ideally, we’re looking for a volunteer who has access to a video clippings service, who can help us get digital video clips from news shows that have already aired. Barring that, we’re looking for a volunteer with TIVO or other videoblogging capability who would be willing to set their system to record and then upload videos we know we’ll need ahead of time, on a sporadic basis.

Finally, we’re always happy to get your tips for blog-worthy media coverage of women — whenever you notice instances of inaccuracy, bias, sexism, racism (or, on the flip side, important, nuanced treatments) in journalism or entertainment, let us know and, ideally, send clips (video or print).

If you can help WIMN get video clips, contact info[at]wimnonline[dot]org – you’ll be our new BFF!
