As we all have no doubt figured out, the process of electing a president in the U.S. is deeply flawed–suspect voting machines, a bizarre primary process and ‘news’ networks that seem to think they can exclude candidates from debates–General Electric owned NBC’s exclusion of Dennis Kucinich from the Nevada primary debate is the latest example. GE/NBC successfully argued in court that it was a privately hosted debate and therefore they could decide who to include and not include.

Not surprisingly, they didn’t want to include a candidate that won’t parrot their agenda, the fact that providing unbiased news about a presidential election is the obligation of a ‘news’ network was lost on them. Fortunately, Democracy Now’s Amy Goodman found a way to include Kucinich’s voice. She replayed the debate and offered Kucinich a chance to answer the same questions the Big 3 answered. You can listen to the transcript here.
