Kat Aaron's Biography

Kat Aaron is a producer at Wakeup Call, the morning show at WBAI in New York City, and a teacher with the youth training program Radio Rootz. She is the former Communications Director at the Neighborhood Economic Development Advocacy Project, where for six years Kat worked on a broad range of economic and financial justice issues, from predatory lending to public benefits distribution systems. She is a co-author of NEDAP's Community Financial Literacy and Justice Curriculum, used by groups throughout the country. When she's not producing radio, Kat writes about financial issues for the New York Indypendent, the print publication of the New York Independent Media Center.
