I know, I know - I’ve been tooting our own horn a bit this week, asking you to vote for WIMN’s Voices for Best New Blog in the 2006 Weblog Awards.
In my zeal to get you to vote for WIMN’s Voices once a day, every day, until the polls close on Dec. 15, I’ve been remiss in mentioning another great blog you should be voting for while you’re over at the 2006 Weblog Awards: Feministe, which is nominated in the Best of the Top 250 Blogs category. The more feminist blogs get noticed and get critical acclaim, the less often we’ll have to hear clueless media analysts write off the blogosphere as a mostly-male terrain (inaccurate as that common belief is).
WIMN’s Voices readers with detailed memories may recall that we linked over to some of Feministe’s spot-on posts over the summer about that ridiculously regressive and inaccurate Forbes “men who marry career women are doomed to dismal lives, dirty homes and early deaths” article.
Other 2006 Weblog Awards blogs worth voting for are the Huffington Post in the Best Blog category, Eat the Press in the Best Media Blog category, On The Media for Best Podcast,
BlogHer in the Best Online Community category, and several in the Best Liberal Blog category including Pandagon, Think Progress and Bitch PHD.

Thank you for the suggestions to vote, I regularly vote for Raymi the Minx - what is your thoughts on her type of media.
She is in the best diarist catergory.
My blog is just coming to blogger, it was about heroin recovery and building a new life and foundation for sucess.
Would you like to link to me??
I am all for women in the media.

Dear Jenn,
You are my hero. If I haven’t told you yet, your website is brilliant, and I am spreading the word as fast as I can to get people to vote for you.
